The popular media player VLC isn’t available for Microsoft’s latest operation system Windows 8, yet. A few months back CEO of VideoLAN started a kickstarter campaign to raise £40.000 in order to develop the software for Windows 8, the project has been funded and the app has already been submitted to Microsoft but has been rejected due to some technical issues. But VLC ensures us
we are going to submit [the app] in the next couple of days.
While VLC makes the last adjustments to its app before officially launching, it has just shared some amazing looking screenshots of the App on its Kickstarter project page. Here is what the upcoming VLC app will look like:
