Popular keyboard software Swiftkey has confirmed it is working on a new keyboard for iOS 8 as many competitors like Fleksy have already released the first apps running their own keyboard, SwiftKey says it has already been developing for months and we can expect one very soon. Ben Medlock made the following statement to The Guardian
Are we going to build SwiftKey Keyboard for iOS8? Of course we are. We’ve already started, We’re delighted Apple has decided to embrace the importance of opening its platform to third party keyboards… Our technology features on more than 200 million devices to date and we can’t wait to reach more.”
Swiftkey, which is currently most popular paid Android app in the UK has also released a huge update today as the app is now available for free but instead users can now purchase themes that will completely change their keyboard.
