Samsung Z9005 to run Tizen OS instead of Android

Samsung has been using Google’s Android operation system since it shipped its first smartphone back in 2009 the Samsung i7500. There have been several rumors regarding Samsung wanting to ditch Android for its own Tizen Operation System since Samsung owns over 40% of all Android running devices it is now looking to be less reliant on Google’s operation system.

The guys over at TizenExperts have released a video showing off the new Samsung Z9005 which is running Tizen Redwood. All though the Samsung Z9005 might not be one of Samsung’s most high-end smartphones, it is definitely a sign that it is looking into an Android free future. In the video the phone is running Tizen Redwod Version 2.2 Firmware Z9005XXMI3 which is still undergoing development
