Samsung Unpacked 2013 just finished, the presentation kicked off with a small orchestra playing classical music, and from the calm and lovely sound of violins and Cello’s we went on to the introduction of the biggest announcement of Samsung yet, the new Galaxy gear, Note 3 and Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition Here is everything you have missed out on.
Samsung Galaxy Gear
The new Galaxy gear is meant to be a companion accessory for you Android device, allowing you to make calls, can provide RSS updates, mesage notifications, email notifications, take pictures and much more. The new Galaxy gear Will be available September 25, 2013 for $300. A interesting thing to point out is that it is currently only compatible with the new Note 3 and Note 10.1 but will later on be compatible with older Galaxy devices after a software update has been made. Galaxy Note III
A slimmer, lighter and more powerful version of the previous Note 2. The note 3 comes with a 5.7 inch 1080p AMOLED display, the new super-fast LTE Category 4, a 13MP rear camera capable of recording 60 FPS video, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, a stunning 3GB RAM, weighs just over 168 grams and has a 3,200mAh battery allowing for up to aprox. 12 hours of battery life, it is also 1.1mm thinner and 0.1mm taller than the Note 2. The note will also come with a improved S pen and in 32GB and 64GB versions, it will be available in 3 different colors, white, black and pink. The Note 3 will be available on September 25, 2013.
Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition
Surprisingly, Samsung also revealed the new Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 editions, which will have a 10.1 inch screen 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, a 8,220mAh battery, quad core 2.3GHz processor, 3GB of RAM a 1080p 8 MP camera on the rear, 2 MP on the front, running on Android jelly bean 4.3.
