While Nexus devices just received the Android M Developer Preview the Nexus Player is also getting an update bringing changes to the interface and the Play Store. According to Google Plus user Shane Menshik the new interface just appeared after he rebooted his Nexus Player. Since then Google has officially started rolling out the Play Store 5.5.15-leanback update to all Android TV devices.
The new Play Store interface comes with the latest Google Play Store 5.5.15-leanback update which is currently rolling out to all Android TV devices. The update includes several improvements like new ways to discover apps and apps that used to only be able to install from the web play store are now shown in categories inside the AndroidTV Play Store.
