The PA team has just released Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 1 bringing new features, making small changes and fixing bugs. Just a few weeks ago the team released PA version 4.5 which introduced many Android L improvements. PA 4.6 will add several new features that will make the user experience even better:
- New “Dynamic Bars System”: Android’s black navigation bar will adopt the color of the app currently displayed on the sceen
- swipe-up gesture to dismiss Hover: Swiping up will temporary dismiss the Hover notification introduced in earlier betas
- Nexus 5 bug causing performance issues has been fixed.
Since this is still beta 1, the PA team has warned about possible battery drain issues and performance issues. If you use your device as a daily driver you might want to wait to upgrade to version 4.6.
