The Silicon Valley based car manufacturer Tesla owned by Elon Musk is working on a new model called the Model X which is already very popular among car enthusiasts as the upcoming fully electric vehicle has been pre-ordered more then 13.000 worldwide.
13.000 is a huge amount for high-end cars, of the thirteen thousand over 10.000 pre-orders were made in the US alone. Just so you get an idea on how much it really is, 13.000 is more than half of the 2013 Model S production total and comparing it to other electric cars like the BMW i3 which has 8.000 pre-orders and is much cheaper.
