Apple has just released iOS 8.0.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update with build number 12A366 is currently rolling out OTA (size is 73.1MB) and mainly fixes bugs and fixes small performance issues, the update should also address the frequent app crashes which in iOS 8 are 65% higher then on iOS 7. - HealthKit apps are now back available in the app Store
- 3rd party keyboards now don’t disappear when typing in a password
- Reachability feature on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has been improved
- improved support for Ask To Buy for Family Sharing for In-App Purchases
- Fixes an issue where ringtones were sometimes not restored from iCloud backups
- Fixes a bug that prevented uploading photos and videos from Safari
IMPORTANT: users are reporting signal issues and Touch ID issues after upgrading to iOS 8.0.1
