HTC Recently announced its first Windows Phone device, the HTC One M8 Windows Phone is the same device as the normal HTC One M8 running Android as far as specs go but the guys over at WMPowerUser have discovered some interesting things about the new HTC One M8 Windows Phone Battery
Both Devices have a 2600 mAh battery which gives up to 12 hours of usage and 12 days of stand by, this is pretty impressive. However when we look at the same battery but on the HTC One M8 Windows Phone variant, the average usage time is 21 hours and not 12 hours while the stand by time is 15 days. Microsoft has made several small improvements in its Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 that should improve battery life of a device, it appears to be that these changes are really doing their job as it has managed to almost double it.
