Google seems to be busy launching updates of its apps before Android 5.0 Lollipop gets released to the public. Right after launching the update to its Google Wallet v7.0 app it has now released Google Drive v2.1 which comes with several new features and improvements. The most significant ones are the following:
- New feature called Activity Stream (allows you to see changes made to files and folders by you or other users)
- Improved Search function
- manage files and folders with new details panel
- new custom message sharing support
- improved PDF Reader
- A ton of bugs fixes and performance improvements

Google Drive 2.1.424.13.35 is available on devices running Android 4.0 or newer versions. Currently the update isn’t available OTA as it is expected to become available for everybody right after the launch of Android 5.0 Lollipop, but there i another way you can get V2.1 as you can download the Google Drive v2.1 APK and install it manually on your device.
