Google has just pushed Android 5.0.1 with Build number LRX22C to AOSP for the various Nexus tablets: Nexus 7 (2013, Wi-Fi), Nexus 9 and the Nexus 10. Google hasn’t released the OTA yet but you can manually download the factory image and install it here:

Android 5.0.1 Changelog: Mainly Bug Fixes
Google hasn’t released an official changelog for 5.0.1 but users report that the update contains mainly bug fixes and provides an overall smoother user experience, no new features have been found as of now.
Several users have reported that the annoying memory leak bug and video playback issue have been addressed in 5.0.1. Here is the full 5.0.1_r1 log. It is yet unknown when the update will become available OTA.
