Remember Flappy Bird? Of course you do, who doesn’t! Flappy Bird was taken down several months ago by the creator Dong Nguyen, one of the main reasons why he did it was because he got so much attention from the press and the players of the game that he couldn’t handle it (more on this in our “why flappy bird has been removed” article)
But now in an interview with The Rolling Stone Nguyen says he might bring back Flappy Bird to both iOS and Android but this time with a warning which says when a user should take a break when he is playing the game too much.
But will Flappy Bird ever fly again? “I’m considering it,” Nguyen says. He’s not working on a new version, but if he ever releases one it will come with a “warning,” he says: “Please take a break.”
The app was making over $50.000 a day at its highest and was downloaded many million times before it was officially taken down even by passing Candy Crush as the most popular game on both of the platforms the game was available on. Flappy Bird is a very simple game in which you tap the screen to make a bird fly through Mario game inspired pillars, every pillar you bypass you get 1 point.
