Apple has just released version 4.0 of its Remote App available in the App Store for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. In 4.0 Remote gets an iOS 7 optimized design and support for iTunes 11.1. Remote is one of the last Apps from Apple to get a flatter more iOS 7-friendly design. As of now we are still waiting for iBooks, iTunes U, Find My Friends, and Keynote Remote to get a redesign. The Remote App allows users to control iTunes from their smartphone allowing them to easily change song, see what song is coming up next, play or pause a song and even play movies or TV shows. Here are some screen shots of the new UI
