Apple officially revealed its long awaited Apple Watch during its September 9 keynote, while they gave an in-depth look at the operation system and different hardware features the new device has they didn’t talk much about the specs of the device.
While the battery is still a mystery the guys over at AppleInsider have got new information about the internal storage and DRAM the device has. There will be a 4GB option (which is the default one) and an optional 8GB version of the Apple Watch, both will have 512MB of DRAM.
Other internal components that can be found inside the watch is a Broadcom BCM43342 a wireless chip, a similar one can be found in the iPhone 5S, it is interesting to note that this chip does feature GPS while Apple clearly stated the Apple Watch will have to stay connected to the iPhone 5S for GPS data.
The Apple Watch is expected to go on sale early 2015 starting at $349. Learn more about the device here
