Apple has just finished giving its keynote regarding the new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. The keynote started (like always) at exactly at 10 a.m. PT in the Yerba Buena art center in San Francisco. At the last keynote which took place back in June, Apple showed some text saying “We have a lot more to cover” and at this event we expected Apple to do so and were not disappointed.
Mac OSX Mavericks At WWDC 2013 Apple showed of its brand new Mac OS called Mavericks, the golden-master version of Mac OSX Mavericks is already available for developers. But Apple has just revealed the release date for Mavericks which will be available today for Free. Mavericks will feature tons of improvements over its predecessor and will also include Apple’s Maps app and iBooks app.
The Mac Pro Apple showed us a sneak peek of the completely redesigned Mac Pro at WWDC 2013 following the now famous quote “Can’t innovate my ass”. We now have a official release date for the Mac Pro. The price which will be $2.999 for the cheapest version and it will be available in December. The $2.999 version includes a 3.7 GHz quad core Xeon CPU, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Flash storage.
iLife update iMovie, GarageBand and iPhoto are getting an update for both Mac and iOS 7. On iOS they made mayor adjustments improving the performance for the 64 bit processor, as far as looks go, they GUI has been updated on both the Mac and iOS version. iLife is now available for free on both iOS and Mac
iWork update iWork is also getting a redesign. Apple changed the look of the icons and GUI on both Mac and iOS. iWork is now also fully integrated with iCloud making it easier to share your documents and files across your devices. It is also available for free.
The all new iPad Air It wasn’t a surprise when Apple revealed the iPad 5 (however, the change in name was unexpected) at its keynote today, we previously already released images of the iPad and much information about the device had already been leaked. The iPad 5 will be “thinner, faster and lighter then ever before” it is 7.5mm thick, has a 9.7inch display and weighs 1.4 pounds. The iPad Air will be powered by the A7 64-bit processor (the same one featured in the iPhone 5S) making it 8x faster then the iPad 4th generation, it will have a 5MP camera and will be available in the colors in silver and white, space gray and black.
iPad Mini With Retina Display will have a 7.9 inch screen with a 2048×1536 resolution. The new iPad mini will also feature a A7 64-bit processor and will have up to 10 hours of battery life. It will also have a 5MP rear face camera and a 1080p iSight camera. The cheapest version is available for $399.
