Google has just released Gmail 5.0 with material design and several new features. Google has been busy the last few days pushing new versions of apps like Google Drive 2.1 and Google Wallet 7.0, it seems like now Gmail is the one that has been updated to version 5.0
The new version features Android 5.0 Lollipop‘s material design and has some design features inspired from Google’s new app called Inbox. As far as changes made to the app, the main new feature is exchange support which combines all your inbox’s under one roof. It seems like the Gmail 5.0 update is Google’s little treat for Halloween.

In order to get the new Material Design on Gmail and the Exchange support you will need to download not one but the two APK’s listed bellow. Remember that in order to install the APK you are required to run Android 4.0 or later. If you don’t want to wait for Google to push the update OTA (which can take several days) you can download the APK files here and install them manually:
