Today is a big day for Nexus, Android and Google in general as the company has announced several new devices, among them the much awaited Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Android Lollipop and Google Player device. Nexus 6 Video “Space to Explore”
The Nexus 6 will be Google’s “Most expensive Nexus yet” but features some impressive specs as it has a 5.9inch 4K display, 13 Megapixel camera and will have a 64-bit Snapdragon 805 CPU running Android L which is optimized for 64-bit, this should give a huge performance boost. Another device that got its own promo video was the Nexus 9.
Nexus 9 video “For Movers and Makers”
The Nexus 9 is Google’s tablet manufactured by HTC with an 8.9inch display, 3264 x 2448 resolution, 8MP camera and 64-bit Quad-core 2.3 GHz Denver Nvidia Tegra K1. The device will become available later this month starting at just $399.
Bonus: Android Lollipop Teaser video
For months users and the media have tried to figure out what the real meaning of the L behind Android was. It had been rumored for some time that it meant “Lollipop” or “Lemon Meringue Pie” and before the official announcement of the name (which ended up being Lollipop) Google released the teaser video which you can view above.
