Before he retired, EVLeaks confirmed the fact that the HTC One M8 Prime is “suspended indefinitely” and instead is focusing on a successor for the successful HTC One M8 a device that lead to the first HTC quarter in which they made some profit.
For those who follow the rumor mill of devices before they launch most likely are aware of the fact that HTC isn’t the best secret keeper with the HTC One M8 Windows version and Android version leaked all over the internet before its official launch and the HTC One M9 is no different as many details about the device are already known.
HTC One M9 Specs – An incredibly powerful device
the M8 Prime was suspended indefinitely but according to AndroidPit much of the M9 is based on the M8 Prime and possibly also its specs. If this is true, the M9 will feature some serious power under the hood with an
- quad-core, 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 810 processor (not 64-bit)
- 5.5-inch or 5.2-inch WQHD display
- 3GB of RAM
- Cat. 6 LTE radio
- 1,440 by 2,560 pixel resolution
- 13-megapixel main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
- 8-megapixel Duo camera,
- 13-Megapixel front facing “Selfie” camera
HTC One M9 Design – An unusual casing
HTC devices have always had an eye catching design and one that stands out from the crowd, the M9 is no different but will also be made of an even more unusual casing made from an exotic material (composite of aluminum and silicone.) Here is a 3D rendering from EVLeaks of the M8 Prime (which was going to feature the same material as the M9)

The M9 Release Date – Keeping the annual tradition?
HTC seems to have a little tradition going in which it reveals new devices during March. The HTC One M8 also got revealed during March 2014 and we don’t expect the M9 to be any different. Usually the device becomes available shortly after the announcement so some time late March
