Leaked screenshots by Reddit user lj6782 show that Cyanogen is working on a new feature for its custom ROM Cyanogenmod which is inspired on Google Now which is called CM Home. CM Home will replace your Google Now panel and instead be “a new place for data from many sources, to be expanded later.”
The guys over at Cyanogen are also working on an API that will allow developers to show interesting information of their app on the users homescreen. It currently uses DashClock extensions to show the information.
According to the developers, CM Home is not a competitor of Google Now and is currently still in development which means that the end product might never become available or it might develop into something completely different once it gets released.
