But a report from Korea Herald confirms that there rumours are not true, and that the new Galaxy S5 won’t have a fingerprint scanner, instead it will use its new security technology called “Knox”. Samsung officials said the following
“We never officially admitted that Samsung was weighing the fingerprint system and Knox for Galaxy Note 3 for security functions. We are not yet developing the technology (Fingerprint scanner)”
