It might not be the first thing you think about when buying a new 800$ smartphone, but the guys at AndroidAuthority think otherwise. AndroidAuthority were one of the first on getting the iPhone 5S in black and a white iPhone 5C and dropping them to see if the metal structure of the iPhone 5C is really that good and if the iPhone 5S is any better as far as resistance goes as its predecessor the iPhone 5.
It was no surprise to see that the iPhone 5S’s aluminium casing is more resistant to drops then the plastic of the iPhone 5C is, still the iPhone 5C did surprisingly well in the test. Take a look at the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S test drop video
