Google has just released Android 5.0.2 Lollipop for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 but not for the Nexus 6. According to CT Google will skip Android 5.0.2 lollipop and instead will release Android 5.0.3 Lollipop for the Nexus 6 in upcoming weeks.
Android 5.0.2 mainly addressed device specific bugs and the Nexus 6 is currently on version 5.0.1 which only fixed several small launch issues but hasn’t addressed any of the main issues users are currently experiencing. Since 5.0.1 many users have complained about in-app crashes, unable to connect to home network and memory leak issues, all of these and other unresolved issues by the previous updates will be addressed in Android 5.0.3 Lollipop.
Google is also working on Android 5.1 which full changelog recently leaked. We expect Google to roll out Android 5.0.3 in February and Android 5.1 should roll out later this year.
