Chinese company Huawei is already working on 5G it says, all though it has recently just launched its 4G network in China it says it is absolutely necessary that 5G becomes a real thing now that everyone can “create big data”
Huawei is the largest telecommunication manufacturer in the world and the third largest global smartphone manufacturer after Samsung and Apple selling over 12.7 million smartphones Q3 2013.
The company claims 5G will be capable of delivering high resolution 3D movies and will allow you to stream 4K video without any issues, all though they don’t expect it to be available until 2018 “It would complement not displace fibre broadband”. They also say IPv6 where a visiting care-of mobile IP address is assigned according to location and connected network.
